Fujitsu came at CES 2012 in Las Vegas not fearing the defeat against Huawei, that stripped them of the title for “the thinnest phone in the world”. To compensate, the company brought a Fujitsu Arrows quad core Tegra 3 phone, that’s shown below in action courtesy of Engadget, that detailed its experience with the prototype.
This model comes with LTE connectivity, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a HD display with a 4.6 inch diagonal. There’s also a 13.1 megapixel camera at the back of the phone, with an ISO setting of up to 25.600. This handset will also be showcased at MWC 2012 next month, when we’ll maybe get more info about its branding for sale and the date it’s scheduled to launch on in Europe (if ever). As shown in the image below, the phone is able to connect to a HDTV and joystick and it relies on HDMI and DLNA to stream content to other devices.
I’m pretty sure this smartphone will only be available in Japan and its maker said that it will come with some health and cosmetic applications on board. The Android experience on the device will be customized through the NX interface applied on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Let’s see what else Fujitsu brought to Las Vegas…
