Sony Xperia S was shown at CES 2012 with a reasonable amount of hype, but some people failed to understand what we’re dealing with here… This is actually a very interesting device, with an unique notifications system, a great camera and a very good fast charging system. The device sports an illuminating transparent belt, that can be seen below.
This one will display notifications so that they can be seen from any part of the room and from any angle. The Xperia S features a 12 megapixel camera at the back, a 1.3MP cam upfront, a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, WiFi, HDMI Bluetooth, DLNA and a 720p 4.3 inch display. Xperia Blog also mentions an anti stain shell that protects the handset from dirt and its final unique function is the fast charging, that allows the phone to get enough juice with the slightest of charge.
For example, a ten minute charge will give it about one hour of life. Also, overall this device charges two as far as all the other smartphones. Imagine what other surprises Sony has in store for us in the following months… I’m only curios about two things: will they launch a new Xperia Play unit and will they launch a Windows Phone handset?
