After some rumors regarding a 10 inch BlackBerry PlayBook, now it appears that BlackBerry 10 OS has leaked. The platform has new widget tiles and icon tray and we’ve just got hold of some fresh images to reveal the looks of BB 10 OS.

These shots are part of a pre-release document sent to an ad agency. It appears that BB 10 OS is based on PlayBook OS, but in a customized way, that fits smartphones. RIM is apparently planning to launch its own widget version with the new operating system and these home screen shots are a hint to that. I’m reminded a bit of the tiles on Windows Phone and also a bit of the Android experience, but the second is excusable, since the OS will support running Android apps after all.

Unless I’m mistaking, since PlayBook OS supports Android software, so will the mobile version for handsets, right? The icon tray has been revamped and now has a preview option. In the leaked pics you can see that the picture tray shows one of the pics inside and the alarm shows the next reminder as a preview.
