Monday’s Nokia conference brought us not only the low end Lumia 610 WP unit and the 41 megapixel cameraphone PureView, but also a bunch of Asha series models. These S40 devices usually have low price tags and reasonable specs, just like the freshly announced Nokia Asha 302, that we caught on camera at MWC 2012 and detailed in a photo gallery below.
This S40 phone uses customizable widgets, it comes with a social networking feature and the metallic strip that surrounds its case is a very nice touch, to be honest. In the video below we can see the nifty and comfortable keyboard on this phone and the use of the Space button, that when kept pressed activates or deactivates the WiFi function. The back side of the phone uses aluminum as its main material and also at the back we find a decent camera and a loud speaker. Here’s the specs list for the newcomer:

Nokia Asha 302’s appeal is increased by the new Nokia browser, that compresses data with up to 90%, for lower usage of the traffic on your contract. There’s also Microsoft Exchange support for your calendar and email and the keyboard format looks very much like the one of the Nokia E6 for me, so that’s a good thing. For people wondering, this device does not feature a touchscreen, also it doesn’t come with Nokia Maps, so it’s still a feature phone that costs 95 euros.
