Samsung may have unveiled way too little in yesterday’s teaser, but there’s some interesting info to learn from its Unpacked Mobile 2012 app. This one you can download from Google Play and as you can see it includes the Galaxy S3 as codename, so this is pretty clear on what product we’ll see on May 3rd.

Till now speculations said that we should expect to either see the Galaxy S III, a Galaxy S II Plus model or maybe a new tablet. However, it’s clear that at least the Galaxy S III will be present in London next week. The app requires Android 2.2, takes up 14MB, it’s free and includes the map of the London area where the event takes place, the event schedule, teasers and even a Live option to watch the mystery unfold. This week was filled with Galaxy  S III leaks, starting with a video, live pics, benchmarks a Samsung teaser and now this.

Everyone’s still confused about the smartphone’s specs, but it’s becoming clear that we’ll only get a slight improvement over the predecessor. We will get a quad core Exynos CPU, a 4.6 inch 720p display, an 8 megapixel camera, NFC, Android 4.0 and 16GB of storage… Would you buy this handset, considering it doesn’t bring a huge improvement to the table?
