LG Optimus L7 is part of the many devices that LG unveiled back at MWC 2012. It’s part of the new and refreshed L series, that features a squared design, that you’ll also find on the LG Optimus Vu model, for example. Although the L7 is the most powerful device in its series, it’s difficult to consider it a high end smartphone.
LG Optimus 4X HD is a truly high end device, courtesy of that quad core processor and 720p display on board. Anyway, back to the LG Optimus L7, this model runs Android 4.0 ICS in a customized version and it packs a 4.3 inch IPS screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a single core 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor. 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage complete the specs list, as well as a microSD card slot and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. The battery of this model is a 1,700 mAh unit, a pretty decent one actually.
Pricing will depend on the region, but it should be around the 319 value, obviously without contract. It could even be cheaper, so it’s a solid purchase if you’re not a quad core fan. Keep an eye on local European carriers in the following days, since they might start offering it.
