Though Samsung devices are quite popular among smartphone owners, their build quality is often questioned as the manufacturer seems to rely on one material only – plastic – for most of its handsets. What is good to know is that before the devices actually make it on the market, they are taken through a bunch of durability tests.

Posted by the official SamsungTomorrow YouTube channel, the video below demonstrates how Samsung stress-tests its devices before them actually hitting the shelves of the stores. The video is in Korean but needs no further explanations and one could easily see that the manufacturer does not take the durability of its handsets lightly.

There are all kinds of tests run on the devices. These go from water to scratch tests to show the durability of the materials. They are also pressure tested for when accidental drops occur. Now before judging the quality of a Samsung device you’d better think again.
