Meox is a Chinese phone company that adopted the latest trend of making 5+ inch handsets with Full HD resolutions and top notch specs. We’re talking about the 5.3 inch Meox Phone with a 1920 x 1080 display and a 13 megapixel camera, the device shown below.

The diagonal size places this model in the phablet area, since it has the same measurements as the Galaxy Note 1. This Meox Phone is supposed to be an affordable model, one that packs a quad core CPU, most likely a Mediatek one, to keep the costs down. Sources close to the company are saying that the Meox handset will go on sale soon and it will feature a 3 megapixel front camera, as well as the 13 MP back shooter. The design shown here reminds us of the Oppo Find 5, another big diagonal smartphone with impressive specs.

The edge of the device seems to be all metal and this looks a bit like a HTC model, if you ask me. I expect it to run Android Jelly Bean, use 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and maybe a custom interface on top of Android.
