If we told you that there’s a hot 5 inch Full HD smartphone coming to the USA for a very good, would you be surprised? And we’re talking about a phone made in China here, the Oppo Find 5 model, that I’m sure you’ve heard of before. This device had its specs list and price tag leaked recently.

The Find 5 will be compatible with T-Mobile, AT&T and Simple Mobile and it’s headed to the US with a $499 price tag. This is the unsubsidized price tag, so it may be even lower on contract. This device offers a 5 inch 1080 x 920 display, 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, NFC and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the OS. It also has GPS, DLNA, accelerometer and a 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The battery is built in and the handset is truly a great alternative to the HTC Droid DNA, that goes for $600 off contract. At the center of the Oppo Find 5 lies a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 GHz CPU, just like the one of the Droid DNA. Next week the Oppo newcomer will get a launch event in Beijing and if I were to speculate, I’d say it will hit USA around CES 2013 time.
