There are already early reports about the Xiaomi M3, although the M2 has barely been out for a little while. Rumors say that the newcomer will launch in 2013 with an 8 core CPU, associated for some reason with the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor.
Xiaomi M3 will also come with either 2 GB or 2.5 GB of RAM, LTE support straight from the Tegra 4 and a CPU frequency of 1.8 GHz to 2.0 GHz. We also learned details about a 4.5 inch display from Japan Display Corporation, that will have a stunning dpi, according to people close to the matter. Xiaomi M3 might also include a 12+ megapixel camera at the back and could run Android 4.2 as some version of MIUI.
Last I heard, the Tegra 4 wasn’t actually supposed to be an 8 core affair, so take all of this with a huge grain of salt. Considering the M2 model sold in quite a few units and had a nifty price tag of around $320 or so, we expect the follow-up to get a similar pricing and once again hundreds of thousands of orders in just minutes.
