Aside from announcing a couple of high end hotshots, the now Chinese owned Alcatel came to CES 2013 with some lower end models as well. These are budget smartphones, a trio actually, that consists of the One Touch X’Pop, S’Pop and T’Pop, that will be sold in Asia, Europe and Africa.

We’re not yet sure how aggressive Alcatel is willing to get about pushing its products, since they haven’t announced prices for their handsets. The X’Pop includes a 4.5 inch QHD display and it also packs a dual core 1 GHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM and it runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone features a 5 megapixel primary camera, a front facing VGA cam as well and a microSD card slot The X’Pop will be available this month. All of the 3 Pop phones will have two versions: one with HSPA connectivity over 900/2100 MHz bands and another with HSPA access over the 850/1900/2100 MHz bands.

Quad band GSM is in the mix at all times. The One Touch S’Pop is the mid end model of the bunch with a 3.5 inch HVGA display, single core 1 GHz CPU, 512 MB of RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone packs a 3.2 megapixel primary camera, a front facing VGA shooter and a microSD card slot. The S’Pop will be available next month in Asia. Finally, the T’Pop is a dumbed down S’Pop, with a 3.5 inch HVGA display, a single core 1 GHz CPU, 256 MB of RAM and Android 2.3.
