Amoi N828 MT6589 is a quad core flagship phone that’s coming in a few months straight from China and today we get more pics and specs associated to it. Amoi is known in China as a brand that makes high quality phones and the N828 will continue the tradition.
In spite of being a high performing device, this is also a cost effective product, so the hardware inside is well thought out. The device packs a 4.5 inch 960 x 540 pixel display, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. There’s also a 2050 mAh battery on board and in case you’re wondering, the CPU inside is a MediaTek MT6589 quad core, that also gives the name of the handset.
There’s also a microSD card slot on board, an 8 megapixel camera at the rear and a 3 MP shooter upfront. The OS of choice is surprisingly Android 4.2, one that even the Galaxy S III doesn’t run right now. The device measures 10.85 mm in thickness and it’s priced at $160. It should debut in stores in March.
