Nokia has had a rather rough time last year, expanding its Lumia line-up from the point where the first gen Lumia smartphones would no longer be considered a healthy option for buyers. At the moment we can say only the Lumia 920 and 820 are to be considered the best the manufacturer can offer for the WP platform.

Though Nokia has done a great job offering well priced devices on their proprietary platforms, we can´t exactly say the same for the WP line-up. Here only the Lumia 610 is offered rather cheap but already obsolete as it is not likely to be updated to any new version of the OS. As it is it would seem that Nokia is in need of a greater offer of devices for the Microsoft platform, especially in the mid to low-end segment. To give us an idea about Nokia´s latest plans, Adduplex employee, Alan Mendelevich, has  discovered references to new Nokia Lumia smartphones, in the ad network´s logs.

The log files showed entries for the Nokia RM-914, which is believed to be the Nokia Lumia 520. Logs also showed an entry for the RM-885 – Lumia 720. The 520 is expected to be a cheap low-end device while the 720 is thought to be a midrange device.  From the leaked specs a while back we can tell that the 4/3-inch Lumia 720 will be powered by a 1 Ghz dual-core chip with 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, and a 6 MP rear camera. As for the low-end 520, it is supposed to bring a four-inch screen, a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, and a 5 MP rear camera. Verizon variants are also expected.
