We’re 4 hours and a half away from the big unveiling of the HTC One/M7 in London, together with a bunch of other devices and handsets. In the meantime we’re witnessing the very last leaks, that include the render pictured below. We may be dealing with a render made by a fan or with an official press pic, but the first seems more likely.
Why more likely? Well, just look at the back of the device, particularly the camera area. Why would HTC use those strips across the device and then vertically into the camera area? While they may be interesting aesthetically, they make no sense whatsoever in the general equation. Usually we saw leaks of the front of the HTC One, with those glorious dual speakers, one at the top and one at the bottom. There has been a lot of talk about the speakers and their ability, so I can’t wait to see them in action.
Just a quick reminder of what’s launching today: an Android 4.1.2 smartphone with the HTC Sense 5.0 interface on top, a 4.7 inch Full HD screen on board and a quad core Snadpragon S4 Pro CPU at 1.7 GHz. There’s also 2 GB of RAM on board, a 13 MP camera at the back, a 2 MP front cam, a 2.300 mAh battery and 32/64 GB of storage.
