LG has just announced the Lucid 2 handset for Verizon, available for free from April 4th, with a 2 year agreement. As the name indicates, we’re dealing with a budget handset, but one that packs some reasonable specs, including the ability to share a 4G LTE connection.
LG Lucid 2 packs a 4.3 inch qHD display of the Advanced High Performance IPS kind , a 2,460 mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. There’s also a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Krait 1.2 GHz dual core processor on board, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of on board storage and a microSD card slot. There’s also wireless charging, customizable lockscreens and advanced camera capabilities.
Those include Live Shot, Time Catch Shot, Panorama Shot and Cheese Shutter. Using the LG Lucid 2 as a mobile hotspot, you can share a 4G LTE connection with up to 10 WiFi enabled devices. QuickMemo allows users to capture screenshots and add their handwritten commentary on top. This sounds like a bargain!
