MTS is a Russian retail network that has just announced the debut of the Alcatel One Touch Star 6010 Android handset, with a month of free unlimited Internet. The product is both affordable and stylish and it comes with 3 capacitive buttons below the 4 inch AMOLED display on board.
The display is protected by a coating against scratches and bumps, courtesy of Gorilla Glass technology. There’s a 5 megapixel HD camera at the back and the body of the phone is compact and has a simple design. Alcatel One Touch Star 6010 adopts a metallic finish and it relies on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, running courtesy of a dual core 1 GHz processor.
It comes with 3G support and WiFi and allows connections to high speed mobile Internet. GPS is also here, as well as a front facing camera and a 1500 mAh battery that should provide 10 days of standby use and up to 4.5 hours of talk time. The handset comes in gray and silver and it’s priced at $256.
