It has finally come to the fact that most manufacturers consider implementing gesture based controls into their handsets as a way of making the devices more easy to use. So far we’ve seen such implementations coming from the top manufacturers, sch as Samsung or LG, and with very good success to the public.
Lenovo is one of the manufacturers that has been pushing forward with its latest devices, available on the market since the beginning of the year. We ‘ve had a hands on preview with the Lenoko K900 from MWC 2013 and it is one very interesting device and one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. The device is powered by the Intel Atom architecture in a dual core configuration and offers a full HD 1080p fron panel of 5.5-inches in size.
Yoku is the very own highly popular video streaming service in China, equivalent to YouTube. As for the gesture based implementation with the Lenovo K900, the device uses the front camera to detect the movement and different states of the human hand. With this the user will be able to control the video playback without having to touch the screen, or even go from a video to another.
