Samsung Galaxy S4 is already pretty much a series, with two main versions, one with 8 core CPU and the other a 4 core one, plus the Mini, the Zoom cameraphone and now the Active rugged model. The latter has just been pictured again, courtesy of a leak coming from @evleaks.
This is the AT&T version of the phone I’m talking about, one that’s codenamed J Active and it comes with a 5 inch Full HD display, a 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 chipset made by Qualcomm and a case that protects it from water and dust. This rugged phone could also be protected against shocks, but we can’t confirm or deny that.
Since the leak involves a model for AT&T, the Active is known under the codename SGH-I537 and you should know that the 13 megapixel camera of the Galaxy S4 has been swapped for an 8 megapixel shooter. I wonder if the handset won’t rust, with all that metal incorporated into the case…
