Oppo has started to take preorders for an upgraded version of the Find 5 flagship model, that we’re testing these days. The new and improved unit packs a faster Snapdragon 600 CPU instead of the Snapdragon S4 Pro.
The handset is ready to be offered by China Mobile and it will be called Oppo Find 5 TD. The newcomer has been created to support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network, so don’t expect an European launch anytime soon. Its 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU replaces the 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro, but the two share the same GPU: Adreno 320.
The rest of the specs stay the same, including the 5 inch Full HD display, 2 GB of RAM and 13 megapixel camera with Exmor sensor. NFC is also here and I wonder if the battery is the same Li-Ion 2500 mAh unit, since we have no information about that. The price of the Oppo Find 5 TD is very appealing, at $487 and we keep our fingers crossed for an international version.
