iPhone 5S components have leaked before and so has an iPhone 5S front panel or two, but it’s time to check out some new shots straight out of China. The interesting part here is that we also get some specs that actually sound realistic.
There’s talk of a fresh 4 inch 1136 x 640 pixel display with Sharp IGZO technology, so it will use up less battery power. The device is supposed to keep the A6 SoC from the iPhone 5, but with a higher clock speed and the iPhone 5S is said to get a new quad core PowerVR SGX544MP4 quad core GPU, instead of the current 3 core graphics processing unit. The source also mentions 2 GB of RAM, NFC and a fingerprint scanner integrated within the Home button.
The camera is expected to be a 12 megapixel unit instead of the previous leak saying 13 MP, but a dual LED flash system has also been confirmed. The iPhone 5 has a CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, so the newcomer could jump to 1.6 GHz or even more. The 2 GB of RAM part may not be real, since Apple has always preferred high power RAM in less quantity, rather than lots of weaker RAM.
Does this iPhone sound good enough for you?
