Over the next week our attention will turn to Motorola and its Moto X phone (tomorrow) and to the LG G2, debuting a few days from now. There’s another launch ready to happen, the one of the Sony Honami, a cameraphone that has leaked before and it has also hit the web today via new pics.
These shots show us a close-up view of the 20 megapixel camera of this device. It’s supposed to be a hotshot camera, one that will rival the cam of the Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and iPhone 5S. It will come with Sony Lens G, BIONZ technology, Exmor RS and all the other goodies one can imagine when it comes to imaging. I’m curious what the lenses will be like, since Nokia has been very keen on working with Carl Zeiss on the best of the best in lenses.
Back to Honami, it will be taller than the Xperia Z and it will probably feature a glass back like the Z. We’re also expecting a Snapdragon 800 CPU inside, 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of storage and a 5 inch Full HD display. Will this cameraphone bring back the joy of using a Cybershot device?
