BLU’s Vivo series is as innovative as they come, since it includes the world’s first 2K display smartphone. Now the same series has a new member the Vivo 4.8 HD shown below and standing out through a thin design, colourful case and low price.

This midrange model comes in neon pink or greenish yellow and there are also matte black or white versions. Its specs include a 720 x 1280 Super AMOLED display, a 1.5 GHz quad core processor from MediaTek, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera and upfront a 5 megapixel shooter.

The BLU Vivo 4.8 HD measures 6.9 mm in thickness and while it does not have LTE, it comes with HSPA+ 42 bps speeds. Its affordable price tag is $249 and that’s unlocked obviously. Judging from these pics the device’s design is not very far away from a Lumia’s looks, which is not really a bad thing.
