HTC has been pushing a lot of Desire handsets over the past year or so, but every once in a while they amaze us with a model that actually looks and feels hot. The HTC Desire 8, that just leaked here may be one of those stunners.
This may be a midrange device, but its design is very appealing. What you see here is an official picture received by Engadget from a trusted source, so it’s pretty legit. I can’t help but notice there’s no trace of Android buttons, neither capacitive nor virtual ones. Anyway, the HTC Desire 8 is a dual SIM phone with a 5.5 inch display with unknown resolution, a 13 megapixel main camera at the back and a front 5 megapixel shooter with beautification mode.
The body is probably plastic and it will come in white, red, yellow, orange and cyan. We’ve got stereo front speakers available, Android as the OS with HTC Sense on top. The screenshot mentions March 18 for some reason and Beijing, meaning we could see this model released next month.
