LG is participating at MWC 2014, but as usual they decided to unveil a few of the goods ahead of the show. They debuted this week a new trio of Android smartphones, the L90, L70 and L40 models, shown below.

These are low end and midrange offerings, that will probably have prices below $300 or so. The LG L90 is the higher end model of the bunch, with a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, 8 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a 4.7 inch IPS screen (960 x 540). The device also comes with an 8 MP back camera, 1.3 MP front shooter and a 2540 mAh battery, as well as Android 4.4 KitKat.

Then there’s LG L70, a dual core 1.2 GHz handset, with a 4.5 inch IPS 800 x 480 screen, 4 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM. This one has an 8 MP back camera or a 5 MP one depending on the market. It also runs KitKat and has a 2100 mAh battery. Finally the LG L40 is a 3.5 inch handset, with a dual core 1.2 GHz CPU, 4 GB of storage and 512 MB of RAM. KitKat is present here and a 1700 mAh battery, or a 1540 mAh one, depending on the market.
