Aside from the two Desire series midrange phones from MWC, HTC announced a third model today. This one belongs to the lower end segment, it’s a dual SIM unit and it’s called the HTC Desire 310. You can check it out here:

This phone was unveiled in China, its primary target market and it comes with a MediaTek CPU instead of a Qualcomm. The Desire 310 integrates a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. There’s also a 4.5 inch display on board, with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution and a 5 megapixel rear camera.

The back camera does Full HD video capture and the front one is a 3 MP cam with mere VGA video capture. The new Desire supports WCDMA networks on the first SIM, while the second is all GSM. HTC Desire 310 runs Android 4.2.2 and if you allow me to speculate, I’d say it will cost 150 euros at most.
