The LG Lucid 3 has leaked last month and this month it becomes official through a Verizon announcement. This model is a new and affordable Android handset, one that adopts a rounded design and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The device is available for free with a 2 year commitment to Verizon. You can also pay $299.99 for its unlocked version. The LG Lucid 3 offers a 4.7 inch qHD display, Knock Code support, LTE connectivity, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM. We’ve also got 8 GB of storage and a 5 megapixel back camera.

The battery here is a 2440 mAh unit and the big Home button upfront is a reminder of the older style designs. I also see that this model hasn’t gone with the multitasking capacitive button trend, adopted recently by the likes of Galaxy S5. The CPU is actually pretty decent, by the way, so the price is well worth it.
