If you’re the travelling type, there are two new devices you might be interested in: Nokia 6710 Navigator and 6720 classic, announced today at Mobile World Congress 2009, in Barcelona. Both handsets come with real time drive and walk navigation, dedicated GPS service and full regional maps.
Nokia 6720 classic features a 2.2 inch TFT QVGA display, a music player, an FM tuner and a dual LED flash. Its battery will last 20.5 days in standby mode and 5/8.5 hours while working on 3G/GSM networks. 6710 Navigator comes with a 2.6 inch QVGA display that uses an ambient light detector for better outdoor use, a microSD slot (cards up to 16 GB) and a battery that lasts 18.5 days in standby mode.
Both Navigator devices feature 5 megapixel cameras, A-GPS, Nokia Maps 3.0 and a web browser. 6720 will retail for 245 euros, starting with the second quarter of 2009, while 6710 Navigator will hit the market in third quarter for 300 euros.
