It’s very rare that we see a smartphone with a thickness below 6 mm and a weight below 100 grams, but this new model has both those feats. The OONE-O1 Ming is pictured below and it’s an ultraslim handset with a very interesting interface.
The device is only one of the many One branded units coming from China. We’ve got the OnePlus One, this One and a few other companies calling their phones the One. Anyway, the OONE-O1 Ming comes with an 8 core MediaTek processor and a price tag of around $515. Its black and white UI applied on top of Android instantly makes me think of the LG Prada Phone 3.0, which is not exactly a bad thing, because that’s unique.
The handset measures a very slim 5.67 mm in waistline and packs a 5 inch 720p display, 2 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera. The OS is Android 4.2.2 and this unit resembles the iPhone quite a bit, if you look at it closely, especially the physical buttons on the side and the general form factor.
