Flappy Bird caused mass hysteria earlier this year and a bunch of clones of that game appeared afterwards. Today we analyze Mr Flap, that’s a bit more than just a standard Flappy Bird clone. The title is available for free and we tested it on the iPhone 5.
We’re dealing with Flappy Bird with a twist, as you control a square bird, that spins around in a circle and has to avoid some obstacles. Those obstacles go up and down as you progress and they’ll multiply and change pattern at some point. Each 5 rotations the background changes colors and more obstacles are added. The game takes up 4.7 MB of storage and it’s made by 1 Button.
This is a harder game than Flappy Bird, but it has more class and it’s more entertaining. There’s a slight bit of Twitter styling here, with the bird’s design and the color choice of the game maker. We give this game an 8.5 out of 10 and you can download it here.
