It appears that the usual source “close to Motorola” has posted new information about the upcoming Moto X+1, that’s shown below in a very blurry shot. The handset also had its specs leaked and there’s nothing very surprising here.

We’re dealing with a 1080p handset, with 2 GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64 GB of storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot and an updated camera. The source actually talks about 2 versions of the camera and the model seems to borrow design cues from the Droid Ultra series, but with more rounded corners and the rounded back and dimple that were found on the Moto X.

Overall, this is just like a bigger Moto X, apparently. The source also promised an upcoming hands on video and regarding the launch, the product will come in early September, to very late August, but it all depends on the camera used in the final production device. Launching the product in the fall is not very inspired, since it would have to compete with monsters like the Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 6 and Galaxy F.
