LG will do basically anything to get ahead of Samsung these days and that includes throwing a few nifty promos in the way of their fans. For example in Romania, buyers of the LG G3 get a freebie, the LG G Pad 7.0 tablet, quite a generous gift from LG.

It’s important to mention that the rules of the freebie keep changing every day now and while initially the offer lasted a week, now it’s available till September. There was also a speculation that there was a contest involved, but in the end it’s all free. The LG G3 must be bought from official LG partners in order for the buyer to qualify for the free tablet. Usually when I see a company doing that, I assume it’s Christmas or that they’re trying to get rid of stock.

However, in this case the LG G Pad 7.0 has just been launched and there’s no point to can it already, right? It sure beats giving people a free microwave or a free TV set, as most companies do nowadays, right? If I’m not mistaking LG is the same company that offered its LG G Pad 8.3 slate with the purchase of a TV set, right? Now let’s see Samsung countering that…
