BLUBOO is a company from China, that was founded in 2006 and I found out their name after discovering their interesting BLUBOO X4 handset shown below. This midrange handset manages to adopt the front side of the iPhone 5 and the back side of the Galaxy S5.

As you can see, its facade is very much like the one of the iPhone, while the perforated back certainly makes us think about the Galaxy S5. The design isn’t bad at all, particularly for this set of specs. This is a 4G phone with the latest MediaTek MT6582 quad core processor, plus an extra MT6290 dual chip. The X4 packs a 4.5 inch screen, with a 854 x 480 resolution, as well as an IPS panel.

It has 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of ROM and a 5 MP back shooter, plus a 2 MP front cam. The OS is Android 4.4.2 KitKat and the device measures 9.6 mm in thickness. The BLUBOO company products have passed the CE, FCC and NCC certifications, so they’re good to go in places like Eastern Europe, USA, India, Hong Kong or the Middle East. The brand is also known as “Bluebo” by the way.
