Another week, another midrange smartphone from India, this time the Xolo A700s, pictured below. This model comes with an affordable price tag of $120 and it’s the successor to last y ear’s A700.

Xolo-A700s

It features a 4.5 inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) and it relies on an IPS panel for the screen. Inside the device there’s a 1.2 GHz dual core MediaTek 6572 processor, that helps it run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This smartphone may or may not get Android KitKat, that’s not clear right now. Xolo A700s features a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, as well as a 0.3 megapixel front shooter.

It comes with dual SIM support and dual standby as well and offers 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage and a 1800 mAh battery. There’s a rubberized back cover in the mix and Xolo is offering you an alternative with KitKat, by the way. They’re selling the Q600s with a similar display, a quad core CPU and Android 4.4, for a similar price.
