This has got to be the clearest hands on leak of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, that’s shown below. The device has its metal frame highlighted by this leak and it looks quite nice. It’s also compared to the iPhone 5s, probably for the sake of some resemblances.
The handset is thinner than the 7.6 mm Apple phone, but we don’t have exact intel on its measurements right now. All we know is that it may have a diagonal similar to the iPhone 6, somewhere in the 4.7-4.8 inch range and that it will come with a removable 1850 mAh battery. It’s also supposed to pack an Exynos 5 Octa processor with four Cortex A15 cores and four Cortex A7 cores. Storage inside is 32 GB and there’s no microSD card slot.
The screen is a Super AMOLED 720p unit, a sign that Samsung is cutting corners and probably the price with this model. Finally, we get a 12 MP back camera with LED flash and Android 4.4.4 on board. For some strange reason, it appears that people in the UK can already preorder the phone in spite of the fact it hasn’t even been announced yet. Crazy, right?
