Recently, Cherry Mobile, a Filipino mobile phone electronics company founded in 2008 that buys phone manufactured in China and markets them under the Cherry Mobile brand, announced a new rugged Android device called Cherry Mobile Rover.

Cherry Mobile Rover comes with a 3.5-inch display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, two SIM slots, a 5-megapixel main camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3.600 mAh battery, push to talk function and an IR blaster that can be used as an universal remote.

This phone runs Android 4.2 JellyBean and is has IP67 certification. We get to know that this rugged device is currently selling in Philippines for a $135 price tag.
