Today, Prestigio announced the fact that a new smartphone device is going to be soon released in stores, more precisely the Prestigio MultiPhone 5508 DUO. We also get to know that this device is the first octa-core phone of the company that brings in the package pretty good specs and an attractive metallic design.

Prestigio 5508 DUO comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display (1.280 x 720 pixels), an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 1 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, a 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

This device runs Android 4.4 KitKat and offers dual-SIM support, WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.  Among the pre-installed apps we have MultiCloud that offers 200 GB free space of storage for 12 months, Office Suite Pro, Prestigio eReader, Navitel Navigator, McAfee Antivirus and Prestigio MultiStore. Prestigio 5508 DUO will be available in Europe for just $300.
