After a lot of teasers, today a new Chinese flagship smartphone has been officially announced, the Meizu MX4. As expected this new device comes with high-end specs and a pretty good price, more precisely we’ll be able to buy the Meizu MX4 for $292 in the version with 16 GB of internal space of storage.

Meizu MX4 offers a 5.36-inch Full HD display with panel provided from Sharp (1.920 x 1.152 pixels), an octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, a PowerVR G6200 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, a 20.7-megapixel Sony IMX220 Exmor main photo camera with a F/2.2 aperture that can shoot 25 pictures/second and a 2-megapixel Sony IMX208 front-facing camera.

We also get 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, a 3.100 mAh battery and a micro SIM card slot. Meizu MX4 weighs 147 grams and measures 144 mm in length, 75.2 mm in width and 8.9 mm in thickness. It seems that Meizu MX4 will be available in three different color variations: dark blue, gold and white.

Getting to software, we have the Flyme 4 OS applied on top of the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Another last thing that we need to know about Meizu MX4 is the price. While the 16 GB version will be priced at $292, the 32 GB version will have a $325 price tag followed by the 64 GB model that costs $390.
