Huawei Ascend P7 has arrived on our testing table and it’s here for an unboxing, as shown below. It was announced in May, launched in June and it’s priced at $414 on Amazon.com. The handset is chic and it’s a midranger towards high end.

The box of the handset is elegant and reminds me of a perfume box, to be honest. Inside we find the charger, USB cable, metallic key for slots, headphones, manuals and NFC tags. The headphones remind me of the Apple earphones bundled with pre iPhone 5 models. This product measures 6.5 mm in thickness and weighs 124 grams. The screen it incorporates is an IPS LCD, a 5 inch Full HD model, accompanied by 16 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a quad core HiSilicon Kirin 910T 1.8 GHz processor.

It also comes with Dolby Digital Plus technology, a microSD card slot and a 13 megapixel back camera with LED flash, plus an 8 MP front shooter. There’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board as the OS, with Emotion UI 2.3 on top of it. Huawei Ascend P7 uses a 2500 mAh battery, has FM radio and an unibody design, with aluminum edges and dual glass panels (front and back). We’ll be back with a full review ASAP.
