After Asustek launched on the market the ZenFone range of smartphones this April in Taiwan, with more than one million units sold, now the company let us now that new ZenFones and TD-LTE enabled phones will be released in January next year. These phones will be then launched in Brazil in China.

According to a report, market analyst expect that Asustek to ship between 7,5 to 8 million ZenFone smartphones until the end of this year. From those 1 million devices send to the Taiwanese market, 70% were 3G models, while the rest were 4G LTE-enabled. Among the three-best selling 3G phones we have the 16GB ZenFone 5, the 16 GB ZenFone 6 and the 8GB ZenFone 5.

ZenFone smartphone are now available in up to 12 markets around the world: China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Russia, Turkey and the Philippines. This year at CES 2015, Asus will release its second generation ZenFone and another 5.5-inch model with an expectation to ship 16 million smartphones next year.
