We have fresh info on Xenium X530, the latest flip phone under the Philips branding, although the handset was manufactured by a Chinese company that bought the mobile division of Philips Electronics. The phone features a long lasting battery, that provides up to 8 hours of talk time, or 850 hours of battery life, in standby mode.
The phone’s specs are pretty low, specially if you take into account the look of the device, that reminds me of a higher end phone. Philips Xenium X530 comes with tri-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz), a 2.2 inch internal TFT display (240 x 320 pixels) and a 1 inch OLED external display.
There’s also Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP on its specs list, a music player, FM radio with RDS, a 2 megapixel camera and the NXP 5210 chipset, all packed inside a 99.1 x 47.1 x 18 mm shell.
