There’s a new ultraslim phone in town, one measuring a very thin 5.15 mm in waistline and as you expected, it’s a rebranded version of the Gionee Elife S5.1. The device is called the KAZAM Tornado 348 and it’s shown below.

We’re dealing with an octa core handset here, one that was officially announced today. This model has a 1.7 GHz MediaTek processor inside, Android 4.4.2 KitKat as the OS and 1 GB of RAM. There’s 16 GB of ROM available, a microSD card slot and a 4.8 inch 1280 x 720 pixel display in the mix. We don’t get 4G, only 3G and at the back we find an 8 megapixel back shooter, plus a 5 MP front selfie camera.

The product also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and a 2050 mAh battery, but without NFC. KAZAM also offers a free one year screen protection with this model. The price tag of the product is about $396 and it will be available for sale in black or white from mid November.
