Today, the Indian producer Mitashi launched a new smartphone that is designed for senior citizens, this one being called Mitashi Play Senior Friend. Beside standard features that we get on a mid-range phone, this one also brings a large font dialler and for storing contacts, reading messages, and a SOS button for emergencies.
Mitashi Play Senior Friend brings in the package a 4-inch IPS display, 512 MB of RAM memory, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, dual-SIM support, 4 GB space of internal storage and Android 4.4 KitKat as default operating system. We get to know that for the moment, the connectivity options haven’t been made public.
During the launch event, Adnan Chara, vice-president of Mitashi said that a market research revealed the fact that the senior generation is also in need of new technology, and with such a device they will have the opportunity to carry with them all the features they need. This phone will arrive in the Indian stores for a $82 price tag.
