And here’s another Huawei device leaked today, one that seems to swapped the predictable HiSilicon processor for a 64 bit Qualcomm CPU, unbelievable as that may seem. The newcomer is dubbed Huawei Honor 4X and it’s been detailed thanks to the following leaks.
On the 28th of this month, Huawei plans to release a new phone and this may just be it. The Honor 4X packs a 5.5 inch 720p display, putting it on the same level with the HTC Desire 816 or Desire 820. It also has a quad core 1.2 GHz 64 bit Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There’s Android 4.4 as the OS, a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies and a main 13 megapixel shooter, as well as dual SIM dual standby functionality.
This model does TD-LTE, LTE FDD, TD-SCDMA and also supports GSM connectivity, plus it’s said to cost around $163, which is pretty reasonable for a HTC Desire 816 rival. I find the camera design interesting, but only because it bundles the camera sensor and flash together, no other particular reason.
