If you’re familiar with the IUNI U2 handset, you probably know we were pretty enthusiastic about it when it came out. Today we uncover a rebranded version of the device, that was unveiled in Romania, by local brand Allview. It’s dubbed Allview X1 Xtreme Mini and Allview is a local company that rebrands various Gionee units and other Asian smartphones.
The price tag here is $356 and this handset stands out through a powerful camera at the front, a 4 megapixel one that sports 2 micron pixels, just like the main camera of the HTC One M8. The X1 Xtreme Mini offers a 4.7 inch Full HD display, a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 2.15 GHz and a 16 megapixel back camera.
There’s an aluminum case here, a good looking one that can be customized with engravings by Allview, who does this work for free. Available in beautiful green or silver, the handset packs 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a Yamaha audio amplifier, as well as DTS acoustics Finally, there’s a 2200 mAh battery, good enough for 11 hours of talk time.
