Doro is a company from Sweden that has begun selling the Doro Liberto 820 handset to seniors. As you probably know, Europe is going through a rapid aging process, with an important part of its population being elderly people.

The handset shown here is the Doro Liberto 820 and it’s tailored for the elderly. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and sports a 4.5 inch LCD display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. This model packs a 1.3 MP CMOS image sensor at the front, plus an 8 megapixel shooter at the back. It offers GSM connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0, plus WiFi and inside it we find a 1900 mAh battery. The Doro phone uses a micro SIM card slot and the product is meant for more regions in Europe, not just Sweden.

From what I can see, this device has a custom UI, with big tiles on the screen for contacts, phone and messaging feature. It also comes with physical Android buttons, like Menu, Home and Back, which is something you won’t see other Android devices doing nowadays.
