Straight out of Thailand comes an interesting phone, dubbed i-mobile IQ X WIZ. This model is a cameraphone, as it seems, judging by its pretty good imaging specs. This model runs Android 4.4 KitKat and relies on a MediaTek MT6582 chipset.

It has a quad core processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz and its display is a 5.5 incher with a 720p resolution and LCD panel. The camera at the front is an 8 MP unit, while the one at the back is an 18 megapixel one, with CMOS sensor. We’ve also got optical camera shake correction for the back cam, from what we’ve heard. This unit does HSDPA Category 14, reaching a download speed of up to 21 Mbps.

i-mobile IQ X WIZ is a dual SIM unit, with Bluetooth 4.0 support WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There’s DVB-T2 digital television broadcasting and a 2450 mAh battery in the mix as well. For now, the product remains on the Thai market, but I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more about this camera sensor.
