Greek carrier Cosmote has just launched the iPhone 3G in Greece and Bulgaria, through its local carriers, Cosmote Greece and Globul, respectively. In Bulgaria, the subscription ranges from 7.6 EUR to 12 EUR and the device is available for 418 to 526 EUR.

In Greece, the subscription is available from 20 to 90 EUR and the iPhone 3G goes for 50 to 473 EUR. Cosmote has a pretty strong presence in the neighbouring countries, like Romania, where it reached 5.2 million customers in just a few years, thanks to its offers.

The iPhone 3G is already available in Romania through Orange and we wonder if Cosmote will be the second carrier to make it available locally.
