Today, the Chinese producer Coolpad announced the launch of a new device for the Taiwanese market, more precisely the Coolpad Dashen F2, a phone that comes with a 64-bit processor and mid-range specs. According to the company, this smartphone will arrive in stores for a $176 price tag.
Coolpad Dashen F2 offers a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD display with a 1.280 x 720 pixel resolution, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor on 64-bit that is based on the BIG.little architecture (4x 1.5 GHz cores + 4x 1.0 GHz cores). Other specs include 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB space of internal storage and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
We get a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, LTE Cat.4, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5-mm audio jack. Coolpad Dashen F2 brings Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with the CoolUI 5.7 custom interface applied on top, and a 2.500 mAh battery.
