Toshiba debuted this week something called “The Shared Board”, a 24 inch tablet, that can be used as a small TV or a monitor that can mirror handset content. The device is also codenamed TT301 and it features a 24 inch Full HD LCD display, as well as a dual core processor clocked at 1 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM.

There’s 16 GB of storage inside, Bluetooth, WiFi and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean as the OS. The slate is bundled with an infrared remote control, that can make it into an useful class presentation tool. We have no price for this newcomer, yet and we don’t know if it will make it outside Japan. It’s supposed to be a business unit, that can mirror content from smartphones via Miracast or from Windows 8 PCs via HDMI.

Toshiba The Shared Board has two 2 W speakers, weighs around 4 kilograms and its thickness is around 25 mm. We have no idea what the CPU identity is for this model, but I’m guessing it’s an Intel, since not many dual core processors can take the heat of doing so much stuff with these specs.  An useful feature here is a split screen mode, that allows you to split the screen in two and play with two apps at the same time.
