Remember the cool looking Nokia handset from the movie Real Steel? Well, that phone actually exists and it was stuck in prototype phase, as the Nokia Atlantic, aka the RM-683. Such physical prototypes were used in the movie in order to create the Nokia concept phone.

It had a variation of Symbian S3, a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss technology, autofocus, Xenon flash, F/2.8/28 and a 3.5 inch AMOLED display. There’s also HDMI, a microSD card slot and the SlimLine form factor design. The case is made of stainless steel and the whole design identity reminds me of the Nokia  N8, which is not exactly bad, since that model sold millions of units.

The N8 can also hold its own against many cameraphones from nowadays. Sadly, this model won’t make it to the market, never ever, since Nokia doesn’t approach that format or OS anymore and Nokia pretty much doesn’t exist like it did in 2009 or 2010 anymore…
